“Black Wall Street Jr.: Empowering Youth Through Identity and Entrepreneurship” is a community-driven initiative under Black Wall Street AVL, focused on helping Black youth escape poverty by building businesses rooted in their talents and purpose. Led by Executive Director Bruce Waller Jr. and Founder Dr. J Hackett, the program fuses entrepreneurship with education—sharpening practical skills like math, reading, critical thinking, and local history. More than a program, it’s a movement helping youth answer life’s core questions—who they are, what they can do, and where they’re going—through ownership, mentorship, and legacy-building.
